Ian has a very wide range of corporate finance experience gained within the Technology and Healthcare sectors over the past 20 years. He has been involved with all aspects of cross border M&A transactions managing both sale and purchase mandates for clients. He has considerable expertise with “Buy” mandates and is well versed in taking a client through the whole process of a strategic transaction including post acquisition implementation and integration.

As well as advising a number of U.S. companies on their international M&A activities, over the past 10 years Ian has also worked in-house for a number of companies including NYSE listed US Healthcare Company The Cooper Companies (TCC) where he was responsible for both organic and inorganic growth through acquisition and consolidation outside of the US for its Coopervision business.
Ian was also a key Board member at Mistral Internet where he delivered a buy and build strategy which encompassed 9 acquisitions before its eventual sale to KCOM.
Ian is a qualified Solicitor and practised law in both the UK with Boodle Hadfield and in Australia with Corrs Chambers Westgarth. Prior to joining Assay he was Managing Director of Norton Corporate Finance.
